Atcom was since inception a pioneer in Multimedia Applications for the Web. As Atcom was obliged to follow and develop application in new technologies the appearance of Flash and Flash Media Server were two tools where Atcom converted talent and customer needs into Award winning applications. The quality of services on the field led Macromedia to award a commercial agreement signed with Atcom that became a Macromedia Alliance Partner initially and then a Macromedia Silver Partner for the whole EMEA region.

In 2005 Macromedia have become a part of Adobe Systems Inc. and Atcom have been certified as an Adobe Solutions Partner in 2006 for the distribution and implementation of Adobe Acrobat Connect into the Greek Market.

This partnership was carefully evaluated in light of providing the best of worldwide technology solutions to our customers. Atcom has gained significant experience in Macromedia technology solutions throughout its successfully delivered projects. At the current moment Atcom is the only Greek company that succefully completed project in Adobe Acrobat Connect for both Public and Private sector.

ARTreat-Multi-level patient – specific artery and atherogenesis model for outcome prediction, decision support treatment and virtual hands-on training

Atcom Internet And Multimedia S.A. has become, among other organizations and European leading companies, a member of the ARTreat Consortium. ARTreat is a Project of the SEVENTH FRAMEWORK PROGRAMME (FP7) COOPERATION - THEME 3 Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).

ARTreat targets at providing a patient-specific computational model of the cardiovascular system, used to improve the quality of prediction for the atherosclerosis progression and propagation into life-threatening events that need to be treated accordingly. The model will be used to provide clinical decision support to cardiologists who would be able to provide personalized treatment and real-time, on- the-fly advice during invasive interventions, such as stent positioning and to act as the base for real-case simulator training, which will support realistic hands-on skill development training to clinical cardiologists.

Interactive Advertising Bureau

Atcom Internet and Multimedia S.A. is a member of IAB Hellas (Interactive Advertising Bureau).

The main objective for IAB is to provide industry leaders forums that work to improve the online advertising and marketing industry. IAB achieves these objectives through initiatives that either prove the value of interactive in the marketing mix or simplify the processes associated with buying, planning, and creating online media.

Microsoft Gold Certified

Atcom has a proven expertise in Microsoft technologies which has used through the years as a platform for building numerous successful projects. On top of that, Atcom’s web content management system, Netvolution WCM is built on top of Microsoft technologies and specifically Microsoft .Net framework.  This experience has been acknowledged by Microsoft by accepting Atcom as a Gold Certified Partner while in the same time has awarded the company an Independent Software Vendor Competency. A big part in this partnership had the certification of Netvolution WCM, which has successfully passed the “Platform Test for ISV Solutions” and is now a Microsoft certified product.

Having already delivered successfully numerous projects and gained extensive know-how in the field of tourism, Atcom has became a regular member of the Association of the Greek Tourist Enterprises (S.E.T.E.). SETE is a non-governmental, non-profit organization and was established in 1991. It represents the unions of tourist enterprises and businessmen directly or indirectly involved in tourism. In order to empower and support its principles, Atcom established and set forth a system of rigorous, standardized procedures related to routine tasks and has been certified with  ISO 9001:2000 certification by TUV Cert - Austria. The application of these standards is evident upon delivery of every project undertaken by Atcom, whether developed for its customers or for in-house activities.
