Chipita was founded in Greece in 1973 aiming towards the manufacturing and trading of salty snacks. Today, Chipita is the leading Greek snack industry, present in international markets, by establishing manufacturing plants in Bulgaria, Portugal and Egypt, followed by plants in Mexico, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia and most recently India and Turkey.
