Eurobank, one of Greece’s largest banks, is undergoing a major business transformation, reshaping its operations, products and services. ATCOM was selected as the Strategy and Technology partner to plan and implement key components of Eurobank’s roadmap, aiming to modernise its digital presence and deliver innovative and personalised experiences across all touchpoints.

Within this framework, ATCOM redesigned and implemented the bank’s native mobile application. Evaluating business objectives and customer expectations, ATCOM reinvented the bank’s entire mobile strategy from the ground up, with the goal being to create a strong, expandable channel within a robust Omnichannel strategy, that would position Eurobank many steps ahead of competition.

The new Eurobank mobile app places the emphasis on usability, data visualisation and security, capitalising on the capabilities of portable devices. Enabled by Tapvolution, ATCOM’s native Software Development Kit (SDK), the app allows customers to make fast, agile and secure transactions, incorporating advanced encryption protocols and enhanced security features such as Touch ID, Face ID – on devices that support technologies of biometric identification – and Shake2Logout.

Further innovations include:

  • NFC Payments in Android
  • PAF (Pay a Friend) service for money transfer by phone number, e-mail or VAT number
  • App Shielding for flawless security
  • Innovative Wallet Solutions for everybody through Eurobank Wallet & Apple Pay Wallet
  • Siri Voice Command functionality for PAF money transfers & account balance information
  • Fast Loan functionality for issuing loans through the app
  • e-KYC service integration
  • Update Personal Information processed 100% through the app
  • Dark Mode

With unrivalled performance and stability, top-level security and exemplary usability, the new Eurobank mobile app fosters new, personalised digital banking experiences and improves customer satisfaction, while providing control over all the financial products of users at reduced transactional costs.

The application was found 99.9% and 99.6% bug-free in Android and iOS respectively, while extensive penetration tests carried out by Odyssey, in collaboration with Accenture, resulted in no findings at all – facts that further establish ATCOM as a trusted partner of the bank.
