Panathinaikos partnered with ATCOM to upgrade the technology infrastructure of the club’s official Panathinaikos TV portal. Built on Netvolution 6.0, paotv.gr is here to transform the viewing experience of PAO fans across devices.
Our Technology experts approached the project focusing on the website’s performance, robustness and agility. Netvolution 6.0, the latest version of our award-winning CMS provided the answers, giving users and administrators alike an abundance of features and functionalities for a superior user experience.
Through the replatforming on Netvolution 6.0, the portal enables users to register and enjoy the site’s rich free content, or subscribe to live and on-demand videos - either pay-per-view and video packages or within a fixed general subscription context. We have also set up a session-based mechanism that prevents the simultaneous display of content through multiple log-ins of an account. At the same time, we make sure that each video is being transcoded to best match the specifications of different players and devices, thus achieving its optimal display.
