Panathēnea is a modern celebration of innovation, technology, culture and human connection, inspired by the ancient Greek festival that once united a city. Through keynote talks, startup competitions, and a rich programme of side events across Athens, it aspires to position Greece's capital as a leading global hub for ideas and entrepreneurship.
The new panathenea.org serves as the festival's central digital home — an engaging, seamless experience crafted for startups, investors, sponsors and visitors. Designed to embody Panathēnea's bold identity, the platform combines compelling visual storytelling, expressive typography and fluid animations within a clean, intuitive interface that feels as alive as the event itself.
To serve its diverse audience, we built a well-structured, inclusive information architecture tailored to distinct user groups — from first-time visitors to seasoned investors. A thorough brand analysis guided every design decision, ensuring the digital experience reflects the festival's culturally rich, innovation-driven character and its unique ability to blend ancient heritage with contemporary energy.
Clarity and creativity coexist throughout: the design offers a timeless environment that captures the spirit of the event, with dedicated space for side events and city-wide experiences so users can effortlessly explore the programme, discover opportunities and connect with the festival community.
To further enhance the platform's capabilities, Netvolution Customer Data Platform (CDP) has been integrated into the website, enabling centralized customer data management and targeted communication. This integration allows the Panathēnea team to collect and organise customer emails and profile data in one unified platform, build targeted audience segments based on customer information, and create and send personalised email campaigns with precision and efficiency — ensuring every communication feels relevant and timely.
