PayPal, the leading global online payment service provider signed a strategic agreement with ATCOM, the leading Digital Business Agency in Greece, to integrate Paypal’s solutions to their multi awarded Netvolution WCMS.

Through this cooperation, hundreds of online merchants partnering with ATCOM will be enabled to offer PayPal solutions to their customers and receive promotional rates.

By this agreement, ATCOM will promote PayPal’s online and mobile payment solution to partnered merchants, giving them the opportunity to lower their transaction fees and increase their conversion rates by offering PayPal’s popular and secure payment solution to the market. The partnership will also contribute to the further growth of the ecommerce sector, which is growing significantly in Greece, despite a challenging economic environment.

Both PayPal and ATCOM are focused on the development of innovative ecommerce solutions, giving customers the opportunity for a simple and convenient mobile shopping experience. Given prevalent consumer trends, PayPal launched its new mobile app earlier this autumn, enabling smart phone and tablet users to fully benefit from 2-click online shopping on the go.

Konstantinos Theotokas, ATCOM’s CEO, comments: ‘This cooperation is a very important step for our customers, who can now fully benefit from the widely-used online payments solutions of PayPal as they are being incorporated to Netvolution WCMS, at the lowest possible rates. Thanks to this agreement, over four hundred merchants cooperating with ATCOM can offer their customers a safe, fast and easy payment option, while at the same time strengthening their online businesses.’

Ganna Yevtushenko, Head of Business Development for PayPal in Central Eastern Europe added: “We are really thrilled to announce our partnership in Greece with ATCOM. We believe that innovation drives success in the e-commerce industry and we enjoy working with companies like ATCOM that are always looking to bring new services to their merchants. With 135 million active customers in 193 markets, PayPal offers merchants a unique opportunity to reach new consumers in Greece and all over the world.”

ATCOM's partnered merchants will be enabled to benefit from PayPal’s special offer by creating their PayPal account through this link. This would allow them to enjoy a 1.9% + 0.35 € domestic PayPal transaction fee for three months from the creation of their account.
