Focusing on user experience, the aim was to provide a refreshed, reliable and effective channel of communication and interaction with end-users, allowing them to easily navigate through the website and complete their ferry ticket purchases.
ATCOM’s Creative Department chose a “flat 2.0” design with a playful look and feel, to promote the Zaplous brand and put emphasis on the interface’s ease of use, as well as the overall usability and experience. Wide images, custom-drawn illustrations and a colourful palette over light-coloured backgrounds set a friendly, inviting tone that inspire trust and reliability, while the carefully-planned information architecture enables smooth navigation, laying a clear path to purchase.
Built on Netvolution 5.5, the latest version of ATCOM’s awarded CMS platform, zaplous.gr provides high performance and flawless functionality across devices, featuring advanced capabilities and accomplishing optimal integration with multiple third-party systems; the online booking engine, payment gateways and a weather widget showing the weather of the user’s destination, further supporting the interconnectivity with courier and delivery providers.
