COO Kyriakos Komvoteas and Creative Director Gregory Papadopoulos join the team. In less than a year since its founding, the company numbers over 30 commercial web applications and 50 multimedia sites.
Blue Planet is renamed ATCOM, becoming a Société Anonyme and a member of the Dionic Group of companies, listed in the Athens Stock Exchange. Business Director Miltos Kritakis and Head of ATCOM’s Experience Lab, Marios Theotokas, come on board.

This is a development that helps the company grow on an unprecedented scale. ATCOM’s Head of Consulting services Jason Kataropoulos and Technical Director Nikos Liokalos, full-time engineers at the time, start implementing the software on a growing number of Greek and Foreign Companies.
ATCOM incorporates interactive media agency Emphase, expanding the company’s web-gaming capabilities and producing one of the most successful Greek Flash Interactive Internet Games (10th Planet), for leading dairy brand “N’Joy”.
Skroutz.gr, Greece’s now largest price comparison site, serving more than 6 million visitors daily, joins Dionic Group of Companies. ATCOM CEO, Konstantinos Theotokas becomes a member of the BoD and the company is incubated on ATCOM’s premises, scaling 10-fold in under five years.

ATCOM ACQUIRES MINDWORKS, FOUNDED BY TWO OF GREECE'S FIRST DIGITAL MARKETING EXPERTS, C. MANTZIARIS AND G. VARELOGLOU.
ATCOM, through Mindworks, strengthens its portfolio, becomes the first digital agency to offer sophisticated Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) services and is soon recognised as the fastest growing digital agency in Greece.
Pioneering performance marketing agency Linkwise is incorporated into ATCOM as a separate Business Unit. By 2012 the Unit grows into a private limited company, officially numbering more than 12.000 affiliates. Linkwise is now recognized as the largest affiliate network in Greece and one of the leading regional affiliate networks in Europe.
ATCOM announces the incorporation of competitor agency Creative Marketing’s client portfolio, officially making ATCOM the largest digital agency in Greece.
ATCOM Director and Linkwise co-founder Katerina Karagianni’s passion for usability and user experience, drives the formation of Greece’s first dedicated UXlab. The specialised ATCOM unit has grown since to serve some of Greece’s largest national and international clients such as Aegean Airlines, IKEA, Shell, Kotsovolos, Praktiker and more.
Leading global online payment service provider PayPal and ATCOM sign a strategic agreement for the integration of PayPal’s solutions on ATCOM’s Netvolution WCMS. Through the agreement, leading Greek e-commerce platforms are able, for the first time, to offer customers integrated PayPal wallet solutions on promotional rates.
Manolis Psarros teams with ATCOM’s CEO Kostas Theotokas to form Toposophy, an ATCOM Unit dedicated to online destination marketing. Toposophy has grown since to serve some of Europe’s key tourism players such as the Slovenian Tourist Board, the Regional authority of Helsinki, the Athens Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Scottish Tourism Alliance and more.

ATCOM creates a specialised AKAMAI, Unit, headed by AKAMAI services expert Antony Mavromichalis, to offer clients security, performance, and optimization services and help them deliver critical content, consistently, across devices. By the end of the year, ATCOM is recognised as a Silver Partner Reseller, and the largest reseller of Akamai services in Greece.
Two years after the company’s first Country Partner award, ATCOM is recognized as 2017 Country Partner of the year for the delivery of transformative services across Microsoft’s Platform. By now ATCOM is recognized as a Gold partner in Application Development, Gold Cloud partner and Silver partner for small & midmarket cloud solutions.
ATCOM is pronounced "Newcomer Partner of the Year" at the Akamai Edge EMEA Forum, held on November 14th in Barcelona. Antony Mavromichalis, ATCOM’s Akamai BU Director, was there to receive the award and be part of one of the world’s leading digital innovator meet-ups, brought to Europe for the first time.

February 20, 2019, was a special day for ATCOM, as it marked the beginning of two major social initiatives for the company: blood and bone marrow donation, organised in collaboration with the National Blood Donation Centre, the Blood Donation Department of Agii Anargiroi General Oncological Hospital and the “Orama Elpidas” Association.
