Attiki Odos, the concession company responsible for the 70km-long motorway of Athens’s greater metropolitan area, partnered with ATCOM to create a new corporate site. Our goal was to establish a strong digital identity through a space that reflects the pioneering character of Attiki Odos, showcases its services and functions as an effective channel of communication and interaction with the thousands of the motorway’s users.
The new Attiki Odos corporate website is the principal digital hub providing information about traffic management and motorway maintenance, tollway maps and road safety awareness programmes, to name a few. Netvolution, the website’s infrastructure, ensures its stability and high performance across devices and at all times, while offering a multitude of advantages on the functional and the administrative front. Specifically the Page Editor feature enables administrators to alter pages’ layouts by visually combining different components in a modular fashion, resulting in multiple interface variations.
To facilitate the unsubscribed users that wish to find the programme best fitting their needs, we employed an intuitive, step-by-step calculating tool that considers specific factors to estimate occurring fees. As for the Attiki Odos subscribers, we have created a special “my e-Pass” section where users can register and have access to their account’s overview, balance and history, as well as top up their e-Pass.
Taking into account the brand’s philosophy and business objectives, we based our creative strategy on the combination of simplicity with innovation. We adopted a clean design with stark photography and smart iconography and we integrated micro-animations and clear call-to-actions that enhance user experience and improve the findability of content.
